Jet Black, Ultra Matte…..a thing of beauty!

We’re often asked for the “blackest, mattest finish possible” for furniture by our customers and invariably find that they’ve tried lots of things but never quite got exactly what they want. It seems all sorts of concoctions and combinations have been used, but nothing specifically designed for the job in hand and which won’t give latent problems.

At Borma Wachs we knew our Naturaqua Holz Lasur NE60 Black Penetrating Stain was the blackest we’ve ever come across and that it’s equally good whether sprayed, rollered or brushed. What we needed was a high performance, stain resistant, waterproof wood coating to compliment it….oh, and it needed to be ultra matte and keep the black from greying off when overcoated. Well, being totally passionate about woodfinishes and having worked in the industrial woodfinishing industry for decades we challenged ourselves to develop that finish. And the results are fantastic!

And just look at it when it’s dried and had a couple of coats of our BORMA PRO 2K Hybrid Oil/Invisible Oil OA3013 spray applied! Just stunning.
